A wonderful new addition to our collection of handmade Impruneta terracotta pots from Tuscany and one of the smallest terracotta pots that we sell. This Coppa Liscia vase, ( coppa is cup in Italian and liscio is smooth) with its unusual design, evokes the forms of ancient Greece: three robust handles that accentuate its classical silhouette, the Galestro clay finish is enlivened by three small decorative dots.
This little pot is perfect for dressing an outdoor dining table, it becomes even more charming when filled with fragrant basil and herbs, its size makes it so practical for any number of planting options, from architectural succulents such as Agave or Echeveria to beautiful Spring colour from Tulips and Narcissus. The body of the pot holds a good amount of compost for growing successfully, the thickness and quality of the terracotta will help prevent the soil from drying out, thus making it a great, small sized pot for growing plants over a longer period if required.

Our beautiful terracotta pots are handmade in Impruneta, Tuscany, the town of terracotta. The pots are handmade with the superior quality clay called Galestro, which is found locally. Impruneta is near Florence and so many of our pottery’s terracotta pot designs are influenced by the Renaissance culture of which Florence was the founding city. The traditional potteries of Impruneta have have been in existence since the 1600s. Our particular pottery has been in the same location since 1660!
We pride ourselves on delivering personally wherever possible, this enables us to position the pot for you if required, or we can leave it in a prearranged place if you are not at home. This quality of service from Vaso Toscano is as important as the craftmanship of our Tuscan terracotta. Its very important to us!
