Yes, the terracotta clay is Galestro an exceptional quality clay, fired to over 1000 degrees to ensure that it will take extremes of temperature. Our potteries say they will tolerate temperatures of -20 degrees provided the pot is not waterlogged and sitting on its risers that are supplied with the pot. Please see ‘Terracotta Care’ for more detailed information.

On our website delivery is a flat rate of £65 regardless of how many items you order.

All our pots, apart from the Orci (Oil Jars) and Coppa styles are supplied with a set of 3 triangular terracotta risers to sit on, this is included in the price of the pot, alongside the membrane liner. The largest pots will also come with a set and these are bigger sized risers to suit the size of the pot.

We also have a limited number of handmade decorative risers, for example, Lion Heads and Paws and these can be purchased separately by sending us an email info@vasotoscano.com
